My office is located in Madison Valley, between downtown Seattle and the Arboretum. I see clients in person and via telehealth, and am open to discussing whether in-person or telehealth works best for you.
Currently I do not accept insurance, but am able to supply superbills that you can submit to insurance for reimbursement. If you are interested in doing this, I always recommend checking with your insurance to find out whether/how much they reimburse for out of network mental health care.
Rates:
Intake session: $150-230 depending on time, 50-90 minute session determined case by case ahead of time
Regular appointment: $150 for 50 minute session
I cannot predict how many sessions we will have, as each case is unique just as each person is unique. However, when we agree to work together, we will also decide how many weeks/months we will work together before re-evaluating how therapy is going and deciding whether or not to continue. For some people we will check in about progress after a few months, for others it may be 6 months or a year. There is not right or wrong way to do this, so we will make a decision that is right for your particular situation. If you have questions or concerns about this, please let me know and we will find what works for you!
I offer a few sliding scale spots for clients who have are experiencing financial hardship for a number of reasons. Please inquire to learn more if finances are stopping you from getting therapy!
Info on the No Surprises Act of 2022
The Good Faith Estimate (GFE) shows the costs of items and services that are reasonably expected for your health care needs for an item or service. The estimate is based on information known at the time the estimate was created. The Good Faith Estimate does not include any unknown or unexpected costs that may arise during treatment. You could be charged more if complications or special circumstances occur. If this happens, federal law allows you to dispute (appeal) the bill.
If you are billed for more than this Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill.
You may contact the health care provider or facility listed to let them know the billed charges are higher than the Good Faith Estimate. You can ask them to update the bill to match the Good Faith Estimate, ask to negotiate the bill, or ask if there is financial assistance available. You may also start a dispute resolution process with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). If you choose to use the dispute resolution process, you must start the dispute process within 120 calendar days (about 4 months) of the date on the original bill.
There is a $25 fee to use the dispute process. If the agency reviewing your dispute agrees with you, you will have to pay the price on this Good Faith Estimate. If the agency disagrees with you and agrees with the health care provider or facility, you will have to pay the higher amount.
